ADHD Organization and Cleaning Made Simple

Clutter is something everyone struggles with today. How many duplicate photos do we really need? Growing up, I have had my fair share of problems with organization, whether it was packing a camping backpack or preparing my luggage before a trip. Now I am trying to sort out a lot of my things as I hope to move soon. For me, this book was very relevant, and I believe that will resonate with you.

Consumerism encourages us to collect; accumulating things is something we're taught growing up, yet many of us never really stop to think about what’s important—what truly matters. What do I want to remember? Sometimes the things we keep, memorabilia,   photo albums, or scrapbooks, aren’t just clutter. They’re reminders of our stories, of who we were, and the moments we want to remember. Souvenir, in French means to remember.

Reluctance inon decision making is how we postpone, how we trick ourselves out of the choices we fear to make. Here’s the best part: this author feels like a helper, or a coach, there beside us with small bits of guidance and inspiration to help us see what we can live without—without letting go of the memories that matter.

I like this book because it does not try to teach minimalism. Minimalism, I think, can be a little dismissive and unsympathetic, often overlooking the meaning behind the things we value. The author’s approach feels human and achievable. I give this book my highest recommendation—it points toward a meaningful destination and helps you get there with warmth and honesty.
